odesk.com is similar to ifreelance.com. There are no fees to join. There are also a bunch of tests they provide which you can take and those will show up on your profile. They have many data entry jobs that you can bid for. Word of caution, it may be some time before your bid gets accepted as there are well qualified individuals who will bid for $2-3/hr. However there are some jobs which require US persons and you will have better luck with them. You can also signup for their notification emails , which will let you know the latest jobs posted in your interest category.
